Recertification American Red Cross (Mechanicsville Pool) (05/09/2026-05/09/2026)

Description

Class will be held at Old Church Community Center at 2080 Old Church Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23111.

 

Recertification

  • This is a one day in-person Recertification class that consists of that will renew your American Red Cross Lifeguarding/CPR / First Aid/ AED Certification for 2 more years.
  • In order to be in this class you have to have a VALID American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification OR your ARC Certification expired less than 30 days ago.
  • All participants must pass the prerequisite swim test and pass both written and skills exam.

Participants must be 14 years and 11 months or older when the program starts.

Class will be held at Settlers Landing Pool at 2345 Wrens Nest Rd, Bon Air, VA 23235. 

 

Recertification

  • This is a one day in-person Recertification class that consists of that will renew your American Red Cross Lifeguarding/CPR / First Aid/ AED Certification for 2 more years.
  • In order to be in this class you have to have a VALID American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification OR your ARC Certification expired less than 30 days ago.

Description

Recertification class for American Red Cross lifeguards. Please be on the lookout for pool location closer to the class to be announced.

Day 1 Only – Water Day!

  • 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • What to Bring: Swimsuit, towel(s), sunscreen, change of clothes, lunch or lunch money, water bottle, pen, and notebook.

 

Please note you must be within 30 days of your expiration in order to complete a recertification class. If you are are past your expiration date more than 30 days, you must take a full certification class. 

 

You will complete all recertification requirements, including prerequisites and skills testing.
